Mountainside Hospital To Get New Owner

Baristanet is reporting that Mountainside Hospital is being sold to a partnership that includes Hackensack University Medical Center. The 365-bed hospital is currently owned by Merit Health Systems. Hackensack’s partner in the venture is LHP Hospital Group, Inc., a Texas-based firm that owns, operates and manages acute care facilities in small cities and urban markets throughout the United States.
