Workshop On New State Anti-Bullying Law

The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee and several Verona groups that have a hand in teen welfare will be coming together on Wednesday, February 8, to give parents an overview of New Jersey’s new harassment, intimidation and bullying law. The speakers include Dana Lustig, the anti-bullying coordinator in Verona public schools, the Verona Police Department and Jill Brown, the founder and CEO of ItsMyLocker.com, an online network for teens.

They will review of the state law, school and police policy and procedures, and solutions to resolve conflict.

The workshop, which is free, will be held at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School at 7 p.m.
