Verona LIVE, the program for residents age 55 and over, will hold a special program on financial planning for retirement next Wednesday, January 11. John Rollo, an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University who lectures on financial planning, insurance, and retirement planning, will present “Changing Finances” at 7 p.m. at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue.
Over the course of the evening, Rollo will answer questions on a wide range of topics that include: How much money do you need to retire? Do you need a financial planner and how do you find one? What does it mean to diversify assets? When do you take Social Security?
The program is free and open to residents of Verona and the surrounding communities. Light refreshments will be served. Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions. For more information or to RSVP for “Changing Finances” call (973) 830-0096 or e-mail Verona LIVE director, Rachel Cohen.
