The Laning Avenue SCA is sponsoring a pre-kndergarten program for children who will be five years old on or before October 1, 2012 and will be entering kindergarten for the 2011-2012 school year. The workshops help kids get acquainted with their classrooms, classmates and Laning Avenue School.
The workshops will be held on four Saturday mornings—February 4, March 3, April 14, and May 5—from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Laning multipurpose room.
Formal and informal discussion sessions for the parents of incoming kindergarteners will be held while the children attend the workshops. Parents can meet fellow kindergarten parents, learn more about the upcoming school year and find out about the school volunteer opportunities available through the Laning SCA.
