Seniors Program Adds Food Safety Seminar

Verona LIVE, the activity and information program for seniors, is bringing back a dietitian from Mountainside Hospital to talk about food safety during the holidays. Emily Johnston will discuss proper selection, storage, and cooking temperatures of potentially hazardous foods, holiday food safety, and when to discard leftovers. “Be Food Safe” will be held on Tuesday, December 13, at 10 a.m. at the Verona Community Center.
