Rita McNeil of Verona participated in the Marist College “Up ’til Dawn” fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. McNeil is a Marist College sophomore who was a 2010 graduatex of Mount Saint Dominic Academy.
“Up ’til Dawn” is a three-day event organized by the college’s Student Government Association. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to find cures for children with cancer or other catastrophic diseases. Student participants spread awareness and raise funds by staying up all night to write letters to friends and family members to ask for donations.
