On Sunday, December 4, the First Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Alternative Christmas Mall. What’s that? An opportunity to easily make a donation to a charity in the name of someone on your Christmas list, instead of buying them a gift.

The church, which is located at the corner of Bloomfield and Fairview avenues, says that about a dozen charitable organizations will be participating. When you make a donation, you will receive a card that can be given at the holiday saying that you have made a donation. n addition, several members of the congregation will be donating products and/or services for sale this year and the funds will be donated to the charitable organization of your choice.

First Presbyterian’s “mall” opens after the morning service, which means at approximately 11:30 a.m. It is located in the church’s Chamberlain Hall.
