New Verona Park Conservancy Note Cards

The Verona Park Conservancy has created a new edition of its note cards depicting scenes of the park that features the work of four Verona artists.

The collection includes, “Peak of Spring” by Patricia Buchannan, “Sunflower Bee” by Allen Taylor, “Autumn in the Wetlands” by Ham Carson, and “The Bridge in Winter” by Ann C. Taylor. The sets of cards include two copies of each painting for a total of eight cards, with envelopes, at $10. They are available at Terry’s Drugs and Main Street Cottage or by calling (973) 239-6074. Proceeds from the sale of the cards support the work of the Verona Park Conservancy in its park maintenance and beautification projects.

The Verona Park Conservancy is a non-profit organization of volunteers working with Essex County to maintain and improve the condition and facilities of Verona Park, part of the Essex County Park System. The Conservancy invites all interested parties to its regular meetings held at 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Park Boathouse. The next VPC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 15. For information call (973) 271-8619.
