Janet P. Scheibe, 101, died on November 14, 2011 at the Barn Hill Care Center in Newton.
Graveside services will be held in Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Avenue, East Hanover, on Thursday, November 17 at 1:30 p.m.
Born in Clydebank, Scotland, Mrs. Scheibe lived in Montclair for 40 years, then Verona for 20 years prior to moving to Newton in 2003. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Verona and the Yellow Frame Presbyterian Church in Fredon.
Mrs. Scheibe is the wife of the late Charles Scheibe, the mother of Charles Scheibe of Texas, Catherine Rosenhoffer of Ohio and Sara Wilkes of New Jersey. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
