Girl Scouts Get Bronze Awards

Verona Girl Scout Troop 121 was recently awarded with their Bronze Awards. This is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. To earn their Bronze Award each scout completed several badges, were Junior Aides to other troops and conducted a service project they called “Project Verona.” Each Troop member volunteered more than 15 hours with the Verona Park Conservancy on park clean up and cleaning up and planting at the Butterfly Garden at F.N. Brown Elementary School. Pictured with their certificates from left to right are: Sara Marriott, Carly Waterman, Cianna Winkler, Celia Poueymirou, Ava Vasalani and kneeling is Jaclyn Marresse.
