Claire Spardel Enrolls At Colgate

Claire Joanne Spardel, daughter of Mr. Steven E. Spardel and Mrs. Lisa L. Spardel, is among the 765 students who entered Colgate University this fall as a member of the Class of 2015. The class, selected from an applicant pool of almost 7,900 students from 49 states, 121 countries, and the District of Columbia, is one of the strongest and most diverse in Colgate’s history. Spardel is a 2011 graduate of Verona High School.

Colgate University is a highly selective liberal arts institution distinguished by the dedication of its 272 full-time faculty-scholars, and its commitment to undergraduate research, off-campus study programs, and residential education. Colgate offers 52 majors to a diverse student body of 2,900 undergraduate students, and supports 25 Division I athletic teams. The university’s 515-acre campus in rural central New York is renowned for its beauty and for the important role it plays in the student experience.
