If you have made any plans for spring break, you might want to rethink them. The Board of Education has decided to keep Verona’s public schools closed for a third day. The BOE issued this statement:
Due to a continued loss of power at two of our school buildings and the unsafe conditions presented by exposed live wires throughout town, the Verona Public Schools will remain closed on Wednesday, November 2nd. The decision to close the schools was made in consultation with the Verona Police Department and the Office of Emergency Management.
It’s too late…we’ve already made spring vacation plans and that’s that. All Snow Days should not be used up by Nov 2nd!
I said that sort of in jest. But I am headed out to the BOE meeting now and will have more details on what the plans are soon.
