There’s a storm brewing, Dorothy Gale: High winds and three to six inches of heavy, wet snow, which could do a lot of damage because many of our trees have not lost their leaves. Events around town are being cancelled and rescheduled as a result, so watch this post for updates.

UPDATE 8:45 a.m.: No services at First Presbyterian Sunday. Children’s Halloween also cancelled.

UPDATE 6: 15 p.m.:  Sunday morning at Verona Yoga is cancelled.

UPDATE 1:15 p.m:   The game is scrubbed. Perhaps to be rescheduled for tomorrow?

UPDATE noon: The varsity football game against Weequahic is still on. 1 p.m. start at home.

UPDATE 11 a.m.: The Halloween witch appearance at Main Street Cottage has been cancelled.

As of 9:30 a.m. here’s what’s off: Tonight’s marching band competition in Bernardsville, and the haunted house and Halloween event at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. Also, if you are in possession of an invite to a certain Halloween block party, it has been postponed to Sunday at 2 p.m.
