Verona has ghosts and the Verona Historical Society wants to tell you all about them: Like the headless body once found in Verona Lake. (Really)
On Saturday, October 22d at 7 p.m. you can join the Verona Historical Society for a walking tour that explores the haunted past of Verona. The tour starts at Everett Field and will proceed from there up Claremont Avenue to the park. It is led by local historian Robert Williams,and the walk and talk should take about 1.5 hours.
The Society says please dress for the October weather, and bring a flashlight if desired. Participants must be at least 13 years old and minors should be accompanied by an adult.
