The Episcopal Chuch of the Holy Spirit‘s wine tasting is coming up on Saturday, October 22.  There will be two dozen wines to sample, paired with appetizers from Verona residents Drew and Rosemary Gabbe, who run The Fruited Plain caterers.

But the church has also negotiated discounts with several Verona restaurants so that you can transition right over to dinner. Your ticket to the wine tasting entitles you to 10% off at Avenue Bistro that evening, 15% at Frank Anthony’s and 20% at Bella Gente‘s.

The cost for the wine tasting is $30 per person, and it runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. To attend, make your check payable to COHS and send to 151 Linden Ave, Verona NJ 07044. And make a reservation to use your restaurant discount.
