Annie and Carlo Calabrese Sr. go out to Indiana every weekend that Notre Dame is playing at home to see their son, Carlo Calabrese Jr., play for the Fighting Irish. But this weekend, they had a whole convoy from Verona in tow. According to Indiana TV station WNDU, 60 people from Verona traveled out to watch Notre Dame take on Air Force.  It was a special weekend for Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Annie Calabrese told the interviewer that she wanted to see her son’s team beat Air Force the way she beat breast cancer.

She got her wish: The Air Force fell 59-33.
