Looking for something different to do with your kids if they have a day off this Monday? The Montclair Historical Society is hosting a special Kid’s Day at its 108 Orange Road location in Montclair, from 10 a.m. to noon. In addition to exploring the 1796 Federal-style mansion and 19th century classroom and general store, children will have an opportunity to try their hands at a period crafts, historic games, butter churning, and more. If the day is nice, you’re welcome to pack a lunch and blanket, and have an old-fashioned picnic on the back lawn after the event.
The cost is $8/adult, $5 per child with all supplies included. Please call 973-744-1796 or send a note to [email protected] to register.
