The VHS competitive cheer team will be hosting a series of programs, beginning this week. On October 4, 5 and 6, there will be a cheering clinic for girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The clinic will be held in the gym at Verona High School from 3:30-4:30 p.m. each day and the cost is $30 per child. To enroll yours, send an email to Coach Jamie Wronski.
Then on Wednesday, October 19, the cheer team will be holding its annual showcase to benefit the breast cancer research foundation Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Breast Cancer Showcase starts at 7 p.m. in the VHS gym and it will cost you $3 per person to see it.
The team will also be holding a pie sale fundraiser. The girls will be taking orders from October 17 through November 9. More details soon.
