This fall, join religious leaders from local houses of worship and the Islamic Center of Passaic County on Monday nights in October at 7:30 p.m. for a Muslim-Jewish-Christian dialogue. The program will focus on the 12th Sura of the Quran, which parallels the story of Joseph (Yusuf) found in the Book of Genesis.

Facilitating the discussion will be Mohamed El Filali, Assistant Imam and Executive Director of the Islamic Center of Passaic County; Rabbi Aaron Kriegel of Verona’s Congregation Beth Ahm; the Rev. Lucy Ann Dure of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit; and the Rev. Laurin “Mac” MacArthur of Roseland Presbyterian Church.

The interfaith dialogue will take place at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit located at 36 Gould Street in Verona, opposite the middle school field. All involved welcome and respect diverse viewpoints. For more information, contact the church at 973-239-2850 or e-mail [email protected].
