Guerrero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, which is located by the firehouse across from Everett Field, will be bringing in a celebrity instructor from Brazil in mid-October.
On October 14 and 15, Guerrero will host Ryron Gracie, who with his family have developed the martial arts now used in the U.S. Army as well as the development of the Gracie BullyProof System. There are two adult seminars: Friday, October 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., which will be on footlocks, and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on attacking and defending the guard. The adult seminars are $65 each before October 1 ($85 after) and you can attend both for $120.
