In the wake of President Barack Obama’s visit to New Jersey towns damaged by Hurricane Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency approved disaster relief assistance for New Jersey.  Every New Jersey county has been approved for both individual and public assistance by FEMA.

George Anderson of Anderson Electric has helpfully sent out a link to the Web site you need to use if your home or business was damaged. DisasterAssistance.gov will help you learn which forms of assistance you might qualify for and set up an account to receive disaster assistance. You can also call FEMA at (800) 621-3362, seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Photo courtesy White House)
