Despite what you might hear on the radio or see on the Internet today, the tap water in Verona is safe to drink after Hurricane Irene. Jeff Hayes, Verona’s emergency management coordinator, says that the Passaic Valley Water Commission has confirmed that we do not have boil water before drinking in Verona.
