Eagle Rock Intersection Gets Improvements

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. (center) cuts a ceremonial ribbon on Tuesday, August 9, to announce that work to modernize the Eagle Rock Avenue and Prospect Avenue intersection in West Orange is finished. The busy intersection was upgraded with new traffic signal equipment, roadway striping and other features to enhance pedestrian and traffic safety, minimize delay and improve the flow of traffic. With the County Executive are (from left) Chris Neal, project manager with Solar-Mite Electric from Fords, N.J., who performed the construction work, Assistant Essex County Engineer Dennis Sedaille, Traffic Engineer Gordon Meth from The RBA Group from Parsippany which designed the improvements and Essex County Public Works Director and County Engineer Sanjeev Varghese.
