The Verona Baseball & Softball League’s 12U Barnstormer team has taken the championship in its age group. The team played in the Suburban League, against teams from Livingston, Orange, North Newark, Ironbound, Jersey City, Elizabeth, West Orange, and Roseland. The boys finished the season 13 -1 playing in the 12u 50/70 Division.

“Working hard in practices and teamwork made the season a success,” says manager Jeff Roshong. “It took a total team effort to achieve what the boys did this summer. I want to thank all my assistant coaches for a job well done. I also want to thank the parents for all their time in getting the boys to and from the practices and the games. Their sacrifices for the boys helped make this season a success.”
