11U Barnstormers Capture Championship

Verona’s 11U Barnstormers completed another great summer season with an 11-4 victory over rival Montclair in front of a large crowd at Glenfield Park on Tuesday night. Verona finished the season at 12-2 with their only two loses coming by one run in each game.

This is the second championship in three years for this group of boys, who have a 39-8 record overall. The team includes Robert Coppola, Michael Daggett, David Festa, CJ Lavery, Ian Metzger, Brendan Powell, Steven Priscoe, Tino Quagliata, Andrew Siegelin, Jason Siegelin, Sal Vassallo, and Joey Zecchino, and coaches Bobby Schaffer, Kurt Siegelin, Neil Metzger and Peter Festa.
