The Verona 11U Barnstormers are headed to the championship game of the Essex/Passaic/Bergen Baseball league. The championship game will be played tomorrow, Tuesday July 26, at 7 p.m. at Glenfield Park. That’s the new turf field that Essex County built on the Montclair/Glen Ridge line just off Maple Avenue in Montclair.

This group of Barnstormers has been playing together for three years and has reached the championship game all three years. They won the championship in 2009, but lost the finals in 2010. Over the past three Barnstormer seasons, this team has a record of 38-8.
