Public Transportation For Seniors

To broaden seniors’ transportation options, Verona LIVE will be holding a free field trip tomorrow, June 29, to talk about NJ Transit Buses, Access Link, local shuttles, private options and County transportation. New transportation guides will be distributed and there will be a field trip using the local bus. The program will be held at the Verona Community Center from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and seniors have to register in advance to participate by calling 973-830-0096. Verona LIVE is a new, federally funded program in Verona to help older adults remain active in the community.
