Verona has a ropes course tucked into the Hilltop and, earlier this month, seven members of the Verona Fire Department went through a team building program there. The program was led by Steve Neale, the Verona Ropes Course Coordinator, who is also a Verona volunteer firefighter. The group participated in some low activities and initiatives, followed by two of the course’s high ropes elements. Along with team building, the group also practiced tying different knots and used some gear that is also used in the fire service.

To get involved with the Verona Ropes Course or to schedule a custom program, contact Neale by calling the Verona Recreation Department at 973-857-4830 or by e-mail at [email protected].
