Mrs. Claire E. Crowther, 91, died on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Belleville.
Graveside Services will be held in the Glendale Cemetery, Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield on Friday, 24 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Born in Verona, Mrs. Crowther lived in Bloomfield prior to returning to Verona. She was a spooler for Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Bloomfield.
Mrs. Crowther is the wife of the late William Crowther, Sr., the mother of Thomas Crowther and his wife Patricia, Carol Tully and her husband Paul, William Crowther, Jr. and his wife Joan and the sister of Connie Intiso. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christine Hancox, Francine Ilaria, Karra Cordasco, Kimberly Campbell, Colleen Moncrief, Megan Cervoni, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
