It may be called the Montclair Community Band, but it includes three Verona musicians and it is launching a free summer concert series next week.

The Outdoor Summer Concert Series will be held on Tuesdays June 28, July 12, July 26 on Montclair High School’s front yard on Chestnut Street at 7:30 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket to be comfortable while listening, and look for three Verona faces: Laurel Brolly and Karen Blasi-Blinder on flute and Ben Blinder on trumpet.

If it rains on any of those nights, the concerts move indoors to the Montclair High School Auditorium. For more information call 973-744-1454 or visit the band’s Web site.
