It’s a small thing as school facilities work goes, but it will much appreciated by some small people in town. The bathrooms at Laning Avenue School will be getting spruced up this summer. According to a report at last night’s Board of Education meeting, the BOE maintenance staff will work together with the town’s Buildings & Grounds Department to do all the work in-house for about $25,000.

The two groups will also work together on installing a new, energy-efficient LED sign on the front lawn of Verona High School. “I’d like to say  thank you to the town for your help,” said BOE member Glenn Elliott at the meeting. Both jobs will be completed by fall.
