If you want to register your kids for the Verona Waves’ competitive summer swim team, you’ve only got a few hours left: Registration ends at 5 p.m. today. To register a child, use the Recreation Department’s online system. You must be a Verona Pool member to join, and a late fee will be applied now.

If you are already registered, try-outs for the competitive team only are Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12. The times are 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. both days for swimmers 10 and under, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for older swimmers age 11. For more details on the competitive team and the entire Verona Waves program, see its Web site.
