Due to expected excessive heat, the Verona Public Schools will follow an early dismissal schedule on Thursday, June 9. Grades K-8 will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Verona High School students will be dismissed at 12:08 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for today and tomorrow, with a heat index tomorrow that will once again approach 100 degrees.
The Verona Pool is open tonight from 5 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
