Mrs. Barbara Rose Taylor, 78, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Wayne.
Services will be held in the First Congregational Church of Verona, 19 Church Street, Verona on Monday, June 6 at 2 p.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, on Sunday, June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Taylor lived in Verona prior to moving to Little Falls 10 years ago.
She graduated from Rutgers University, was awarded Phi Beta Kappa and worked for the Bloomfield Board of Health, retiring in 1998.
Mrs. Taylor is the mother of Susan Marie Taylor, Leonard Taylor, Lisa Gail Taylor, Daniel Taylor and the late Mark Taylor. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caitlin, Chloe, Jonathan, Nicole and Cheyenne.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Congregational Church of Verona would be appreciated.
