Verona High School is holding a blood drive on Thursday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library. All residents, in good health and meeting all blood donation screening requirements, are welcome to donate blood, but students 16 years of age and older must have parent/guardian consent. Permission slips for students can be obtained in the office of Shirley Bush, the nurse at VHS. Blood donation is a good experience for young people, encouraging altruism, community responsibility and developing awareness of what it means to be a good citizen. If you have any questions please e-mail Mrs. Bush.
