Turtle Back Zoo will celebrate the unofficial start of summer at its annual Sheep Shearing Day on Monday, May 30. The Zoo’s professional shearer will be offering sheep shearing demonstrations on Memorial Day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Essex Farm petting zoo area.
