VHS Grad Is NFL Hopeful

Share post:

Sportswriters looking for a feel-good story during the NFL lockout appear to have found one in a 2007 graduate of Verona High School. Dan DePalma, currently a senior at West Chester University,  is among the hundreds of un-drafted free agents waiting for the pros to get their act together. But he took a big step toward his goal of a pro football career on Wednesday when he was invited to join Eli Manning’s workout camp in Hoboken–the first non-Giant at the camp. The Star Ledger has a story about it, as does ESPN and CBS.

Best of luck, Dan.
