If you want to join the Verona Pool this summer (yes, we will get summer eventually), you have until Friday, May 13 to get your application in to Town Hall without paying a late fee.

The Family membership is $410 this year, and the Family with Babysitter membership is $500. The Couple membership is $375 and the Parent/Child membership is $350. An Individual membership is $265 this year, and the Senior Citizen membership is $140. There will be an extra $20 charge after May 13. Memberships are open to Verona residents only, and if you want to enroll the kids in the Verona Waves Swim Team, you need to be a pool member first.

The Verona Pool will open on Memorial Day Weekend (May 28, 29, 30) and be open for weekends only until schools close for summer. The pool opens full-time on Thursday, June 23 and the season runs through Labor Day, September 5.

If you’ve already paid, you can pick up your 2011 pool badges beginning Monday, May 23, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Monday evening, May 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pool badges will also be issued on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 21 and May 28. You’ll see to show identification in the form of a valid driver’s license and current PSEG bill to pick up your badges.
