On Tuesday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. Congregation Beth Ahm will host a speech and discussion by David Halperin, the program director and policy analyst at Israel Policy Forum, regarding Israel’s options amid the fast-changing conditions in the Middle East. Halperin will address what the revolution in Egypt and the unrest in other countries in the region means for Israel, how the recent agreement between Hamas and Fatah could change the area’s delicate power balance and what Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming address to a Joint Session of Congress might signal in terms of Israeli foreign policy. There is a suggested contribution of $5 at the door.
Congregation Beth Ahm is located at 56 Grove Avenue in Verona. Please call 973-239-0754 for further information.
