Free Rabies Clinic Coming

The Verona Health Department is offering a free rabies clinic on Wednesday, May 11. Dogs will be vaccinated between 6 and 6:45 p.m.; cats will be seen from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Verona Town Garage on Ozone Avenue.

The rabies vaccine is recommended every two years and mandated every three years, and is necessary for your animal to be licensed. Vaccinations are given by a licensed veterinarian. No appointment is required and you should not feed your pet before bringing it in. If you’ve got questions, call the Verona Health Department at 973-857-4800.
