The Verona U10 softball team opened up their Spring travel season Friday at home against Parsippany. It was a close game from the start with the lead going back and forth three times in five innings. Verona pulled out the nail-bitter 5-4, with a bases-loaded single by Katie Ryan to score Anna Rosinski from third.

At 1-0 the girls travel to Livingston on Sunday night to play The Thunder, a team they tied in the spring warm up tournament just a week ago.

The girls played hard, stayed tough and earned a victory Friday night. They are a resilient group and exciting to watch.
