The Verona Fire Department is holding a pancake breakfast on Sunday May 1, at Firehouse #2. That’s the one across from Everett Field at 209 Bloomfield Avenue. The firefighters will be cooking from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and they will be cooking a lot: Breakfast includes pancakes, Taylor ham, bacon, eggs, sausage, OJ and coffee. Tickets are $20 for the whole family, $5 for an individual, $4 for seniors and kids under 6 are free.
