Heroes For Hearts

Share post:

The Verona High School Heroes & Cool Kids members joined H.B. Whitehorne students on Friday, April 1 to participate in Jump Rope for Heart.  In this  event, students jump rope as teams, learn about heart health and raise money for the American Heart Association–$33,000 this year. The VHS Heroes teamed up with their fifth grade Cool Kids, helping to make the fifth grade the highest fundraiser at HBW.

The Heroes have their third training session soon and a  final mentoring at HBW in June. Funding for the program comes from the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee.
