Jeffrey Monacelli, the principal of Forest Avenue School, and Dr. Larry Siegel, an educator in Verona’s gifted and talented program, run a summer enrichment program called V-SEA. It’s open to kids entering kindergarten this fall all the way through those entering 8th grade. The elementary program has a mix of activities in language arts, science and math, while the middle school curriculum will revolve around Rick Riordan’s Maze of Bones.
Pre-k, kindergarten and first grade classes will be at Laning Avenue school. Second, third and fourth grade classes will be at F.N. Brown School, as will the middle school program. The cost is $355 per child.
