Mrs. Caroline (nee Conklin) DeWitt died on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Cedar Grove. Services will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday, April 15 at 11 a.m. Visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Born and raised in West Caldwell, Mrs. DeWitt lived in Newark prior to moving to Verona in 1956. She is the wife of the late William C. DeWitt, the mother of Nancy C. DeWitt, William H. DeWitt and his wife Robin, and Susan A. DeWitt. She is also the sister of Ruth Conklin, the late Marcelle Beluschak, the grandmother of Laura Rose DeWitt, the aunt of Karen Hansen and the cousin of Roger J. Conklin.
