A fish and chips dinner is one of the fund-raising traditions of Verona. On Friday, April 29, the First Presbyterian Church of Verona will hold its 11th Annual Fish and Chips Dinner, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The dinner will be catered, as always, by Kearny’s Argyle Restaurant . You can get full ($15) or half size ($10) dinner portions of fish and chips or chicken fingers and fries accompanied by cole slaw, to eat in or take home. Dinner includes a beverage, coffee or tea and a variety of homemade desserts.

The church will be using the proceeds from the dinner to aid fellow Veronans facing financial hardship, and to fund high school scholarships. You can buy tickets at First Presbyterian each Sunday in Chamberlain Hall immediately after the 10:15 service or by calling the church office directly Monday through Friday at 973-239-3561.
