Steve Spardel, who has served on the Verona Board of Education since 2008, is withdrawing his candidacy from the April 27 school board election.  Dawn DuBois will run unopposed.

The H.B. Whitehorne SCA has decided to hold the Candidates Forum scheduled for Monday, April 11, as planned, to give voters a chance to meet DuBois and ask questions of her. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Verona High School Library. It will be an informal meeting without a moderator.
