The New Jersey Audubon Society is hosting a free bird-watching walk around Verona Park on Thursday, April 14. Hikers will take an easy walk around the pond while looking for signs of early spring migrants. Space is limited, so if you want to participate call Kelly Wenzel at 973-226-6082 to register. Meet at the south side of the boathouse at 8:30 a.m.

Spotted a couple of red-winged blackbirds, a lovely hawk gliding over the lake and the coolest kingfisher with a blue crest in the park today!
