Children Having Individual Learning Differences (C.H.I.L.D.) is hosting a free viewing of “Waiting for Superman” on Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Verona Community Center Ballroom. Released last year, “Waiting for Superman” is a documentary about the shortcomings of the American education system as seen through students waiting to be accepted into a charter school. C.H.I.L.D. will facilitate an open discussion of the film, and its recommendations for parents and teachers, after the movie.

C.H.I.L.D. is a parent-run organization supporting children, parents and educators in the Verona district. For more information, see C.H.I.L.D.’s Web site.
