The 5th grade boys and girls Suburban League basketball teams traveled to the Town Council meeting last night to be honored for their winning season. The girls won their championship on March 3, defeating No. 1 seed West Essex in a 15-14 nail-bighter. The boys rebounded from a slow start to win seven of their eight regular season games before going on to roll through their playoff opponents.
